Alter mutes are used worldwide, in leading orchestras and period-instrument ensembles.
The three pronged mutes are requested by Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment for use in their string sections.
Apologies, but due to a combination of factors outside my control, I can only supply 3 prong violin/viola mutes, and modern violin/viola mutes at present.
My mutes are also stocked in various violin shops. They may still have stock of cello and bass mutes. If you need especially speedy arrival of your mutes buy from one of the shops below
